Wichita, KS and Little Rock, AR, July 28, 2024 — BenefitsMe, a rapidly expanding employer-sponsored purchasing assistance program, is honored to provide a generous donation to the Baptist Health Foundation, based in Little Rock, Arkansas. BenefitsMe is inspired by the work the Baptist Health Foundation is doing to connect philanthropy with the purpose of providing compassionate care and building healthier communities.

Aligning with the core value of providing wellness to all, Baptist Health and BenefitsMe are proud to support the Foundation’s Chaplain’s Emergency Fund for Baptist Health employees with this generous donation. The Foundation has a history of over 60 years providing financial support benefits and healing to families and individuals who receive care from the largest private not-for-profit health care organization based in Arkansas, Baptist Health. Funding provided by the Baptist Health Foundation supports many life-saving projects such as the Baptist Health heart transplant program, MedFlight, digital mammography, and many more.

Lena Hayes, Baptist Health Foundation’s Chief Development Officer, shared, “I want to thank Cathy Dickinson for her leadership in forging this partnership with BenefitsMe. Partnerships with like-minded organizations are special and, when you add philanthropy, it makes them even more powerful. Today’s contribution will help us continue supporting our employees, who are committed to caring for our community, during their times of need. This allows healing to happen for everyone, including the members of our own healing ministry.”

BenefitsMe partners with companies to provide employees access to the products they need now while allowing them to pay through interest-free payroll deductions over time. This partnership opens the door for employees to secure products such as small and major appliances, electronics, furniture, and much more, without the expense of interest payments and fees. This innovative voluntary benefits solution is one that thinks outside of creditworthiness limitations and drives financial wellness for all.

“Allocating this contribution to the Chaplain’s Emergency Fund maximizes the positive impact from the Program. BenefitsMe provides financial relief to employees when they need to make purchases. This contribution, together with the Baptist Health Foundation, provides financial relief to employees when they are experiencing unexpected hardship,” said Raechel Peters, President of BenefitsMe. “We are thankful that our partnership with Baptist Health has allowed us visibility into all the amazing work they and their Foundation are delivering.”
