Hudson, who has worked with the nonprofit accounting company for the last two years, helped to build the infrastructure needed to triple the company’s size. Hudson learned on April 17 that he was also a recipient of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) Elijah Watt Sells Award for scoring a 95.50 or better on the Uniform CPA Examination. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ST. LOUIS, MO — April 24, 2020 — The Charity CFO, LLC is proud to announce that Tim Hudson has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer.

Hudson started working with the company two years ago and has been effectively building the infrastructure needed to triple the size of The Charity CFO, an accounting agency specializing in nonprofits. Hudson was a graduate of Truman State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and later a Master of Accountancy.

“We were beyond thrilled to make Tim Hudson our Chief Operating Officer in March,” said Tosha Anderson, founder and CEO of The Charity CFO. “In his position, he’ll help me co-lead the business and work on training our team to be the best accountants we can.”

New acting COO Tim Hudson was also awarded the prestigious Elijah Watt Sells Award on April 17. He was one of 135 recipients who obtained a cumulative average score above 95.50 across all four sections of the Uniform CPA Examination. The award was presented by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).

“Out of 75,000 people who took the CPA exam, only 135 scored 95.50 or better. Tim was one of the 135! That’s the top 0.2%,” said Anderson. “This legitimizes our claim that he’s a bona fide genius. We’re so proud to have him co-lead our team and bring his brilliance to benefit the underdog industry we service.”
