SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, 11 October 2023— National broadband provider Swoop has been named ‘One to Watch’ in the Australian Financial Review‘s 2023 Digital Transformation Leaders Awards.
The awards, presented in association with global consulting firm Boston Consulting Group, are designed to celebrate Australian companies that have successfully overhauled their technology stack and improved their digital operations.
A panel of BCG experts assessed more than 100 entries using the firm’s Digital Transformation Key Success Factors approach. The criteria judged included the commitment of leaders to change, how integrated the strategy is with the company’s digital goals, and how effectively technology changes are monitored.
The result was five winners, five leaders and four “Ones to Watch” across five industry categories.
Factors common to the awarded companies were top management support and funding for digital initiatives; a strong focus on hiring, retaining and developing personnel with technology skills; and the ongoing digitisation and automation of processes.
