Lighthouse Emotional Wellness Center Announces Ribbon Tying Ceremony During Mental Health Awareness Month.

Arlington Heights, IL, May 18th, 2021 – Lighthouse Emotional Wellness Center is proud to celebrate its Arlington Heights facility with the Mayor and the public. Open House is on May 22nd, from 12pm-2pm, with the ceremony conducted at 12:30pm.
The Lighthouse Center is the first and only emotional wellness center of its kind established in the Midwest in 2002, founded by Dr. Ray & Jean Kadkhodaian.
They provide marriage counseling, family counseling, and individual counseling in Arlington Heights, and the Northwest suburbs. Staffed with a caring and experienced team of professionals, The Lighthouse offers counseling services changing the lives of couples, families, and individuals throughout the Chicagoland area.
Dr. Ray Kadkhodaian shared that, “during the lockdown, our company moved from Schaumburg to our current location in Arlington Heights, and we’re very pleased we were able to continue to provide virtual mental health services for the community filling in the gaps where some mental health providers were unable to meet the demand. Many smaller mental health practices were unequipped, understaffed, and lacked the knowledge of how to provide telehealth services, unlike our practice.”
Dr. Kadkhodaian added, “we were not only able to provide these needed services, but we were even featured on WGN news for offering free virtual support groups for moms, children, those struggling with pandemic anxiety, and those with addictions. Our team was able to support our clients through this crisis and was able to support each other and our own families as stress were very high.”
But Lighthouse never was able to celebrate their move to Arlington Heights, until now.
Dr. Ray stated, “given that this month is Mental Health Awareness Month and that last year, we were unable to celebrate our move with a Ribbon Tying Ceremony with the Mayor of Arlington Heights, we are at long last able to have that celebration now. The Open House is on May 22nd, from 12pm-2pm, with the ceremony conducted at 12:30pm.”
The Lighthouse Emotional Wellness Center hopes that this celebration is not only one that exemplifies resilience through the pandemic, but also demonstrates from the Federal level, to the Municipal level, to the healthcare provider level a commitment and dedication to the people of our community.
