Jesus On Trial is hosting an apologetics conference to explore the reasons to believe that Jesus rose from the dead and examine the firm foundation of the Christian faith. This year, the conference will feature a virtual experience allowing attendees the opportunity to take part in live sessions, Q&A’s, games, scavenger hunts, quizzes, discussion boards, and more.
The founder of Jesus On Trial, Oleg Kostyuk, fled the Soviet Union in the early ’90s due to religious oppression. Oleg and his wife desired to give their family the opportunity to freely and openly worship God. When one of their sons came home and began asking difficult questions regarding the Bible, wrestling with the reasons why his friend left Christianity to become an atheist, the Kostyuks helped their son address those tough questions. They soon discovered that Christian scholars and professors willingly attended conferences to speak to young people about Christian apologetics. The whole family attended the next available apologetics conference to experience it for themselves! The Kostyuks enjoyed it so much that they chose to host an apologetics conference in Sacramento in 2016, and the Jesus On Trial Conference was born!
