Jacksonville, FL, January 13, 2021 – Well-known Jacksonville government affairs consultant Deno Hicks has joined the board of directors of the nonprofit organization Five Star Veterans Center. Five Star assists veterans in need with a focus on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Depression, Anxiety, and other related mental health issues.
Hicks said of joining the board, “Considering the sacrifice military veterans make for our freedom and way of life, the least we can do is provide them every resource necessary to help them reintegrate into society. Five Star has proven for nearly a decade they are up to that challenge, and I am proud to support their work.”
