Wilmington, NC – February 18th, 2026 – Horton & Mendez Injury Attorneys is proud to announce the addition of Rebecca Linder as an Associate Attorney. In her new role, Rebecca will focus on representing individuals and families in personal injury matters, bringing a compassionate, client-centered approach to every case. She will also support clients seeking guidance from a Wilmington workers compensation lawyer, helping injured workers understand their rights and pursue the benefits they deserve.
Rebecca began her legal career in 2024 after earning her Juris Doctor from Liberty University School of Law and gaining admission to the North Carolina Bar. Prior to joining Horton & Mendez, she gained experience in family law, juvenile law, and adult guardianship and incompetency matters, where she developed strong advocacy skills and a deep understanding of the challenges clients face during emotionally difficult situations.
She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, which shapes her thoughtful, empathetic approach to legal representation and strengthens her ability to advocate for clients during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. In addition to personal injury cases, Rebecca works alongside the firm’s legal team to assist individuals who need a Jacksonville workers compensation lawyer or a Gastonia workers compensation lawyer, further expanding the firm’s commitment to serving injured workers across North Carolina.
Rebecca’s transition into personal injury law reflects her passion for advocacy and her desire to support individuals seeking justice and accountability after serious injuries.
Outside of the office, Rebecca enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and exploring North Carolina’s mountains and coastline.
