FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Lake Worth, FL, March 5, 2024— Elder Law, P.A., a firm serving South Florida that advocates for seniors and their families, as well as other individuals who are exploring estate planning, Medicaid planning, and other planning, is thrilled to announce the addition of attorney Ramona M. Hupp to their team.

Serving as a Palm Beach county attorney for over two decades, Ms. Hupp is a graduate of Florida State University College of Law where she also earned her undergraduate degree in International Affairs, Magna Cum Laude. Ms. Hupp joins Ryan Smollar, an attorney with over ten years of experience and a fellow alumnus of Florida State University, as a representative for Elder Law, P.A., bringing the combined level of experience the firm offers to clients to over 30 years!

Smollar is enthusiastic about the newest addition to the team and reports that, “Ramona is a perfect fit for the firm as she is always looking out for the best interest of her clients and is understanding of complicated family dynamics when planning an estate.”

Hupp boasts an impressive and decorated background. She performed in a leadership role in the Women’s Law Symposium and held membership in the Public Interest Law Student Association and the Spanish American Law Student Association. While at Florida State she also had the opportunity to clerk with retired Judge Robert T. Benton at the First District Court of Appeals and further distinguished herself by earning a Public Service Fellows Award from the Florida Bar Foundation.

Fulfilling a lifelong dream of service, which she pursued in her study of administrative and public interest law, Hupp began her legal career representing foster children at the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County. During her nearly eighteen years with the Legal Aid Society, she represented clients in immigration, domestic violence, and family law matters. She continues to be committed to delivering quality, holistic representation to those in need and is happy to be able to continue her commitment to service by assisting the residents of Palm Beach County in their end of life planning and estate planning needs.

Hupp is a dedicated advocate and enjoys educating her clients and guiding them through the legal challenges they face. She is passionate about defending her client’s rights and is committed to ensuring that they experience the best possible outcome in their cases. Attorney Ramona Hupp was born and raised in Tennessee, before moving to South Florida. She is fluent in Spanish and loves learning about other cultures. When she is not working, Hupp enjoys spending time with her two boys, going to the beach, and working in her garden.
