The 2021 Ford F-150: Trim Levels

Let’s first take a look at what you’ll see when you step inside your new Ford F-150 and what features it has to make your drives more comfortable. We’ll go trim-by-trim so that you can see which trim is right for your truck.

Ford F-150 XL Interior Features

The XL is the base trim level of the new Ford F-150, and specs-wise it’s got a lot to offer you. A lot of the options that would have been high-end on older F-150s now come as standard, which represents some great value for money.

One of the best features of the XL’s interior is the eight-inch touchscreen that gives you access to the infotainment system, which includes Ford Sync. Sync offers you an easy way to connect the truck to your phone.

Sync includes integration with Waze, a variety of music apps, and voice commands. You can even use it to get an Amazon package delivered to your truck. The Key app gives the Amazon driver exclusive access to your vehicle so they can leave a package inside.

The XL also comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which makes enjoying your favorite music and podcasts a breeze. In terms of safety features, the XL gives you peace of mind with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, and automatic high-beams.

For added comfort, there’s single-zone air conditioning, an outside temperature display, dual-note horn, a 12V powerpoint, and a telescoping steering wheel.
