Most of us lead hectic lives. We’re always working, doing chores, running errands, and looking after people. You might spend your mornings getting the kids ready for school or getting up early for a long commute. Your mornings are busy and often tough, and so a skincare routine that works becomes important.
We all want nice skin. We want it to be healthy, soft, and free from spots and acne. We also want it to be glowing, youthful, and radiant. But, unfortunately, most of us don’t have the free time that we need to give it the attention that it deserves. So, we develop a routine. We do the same things every day because we know that they work. We stick with our method, because it’s good for our skin, and perhaps because it’s cheap, fast and easy.
But what worked yesterday won’t always work. Sometimes, your skincare routine needs some changes, and you need to know when it’s time to make them. Here are some of the signs that it’s time to change your skincare routine.

YOU’VE GOT ACNE
The odd spot is totally normal. It’s often a sign that you need to make changes to your diet, you’re not getting enough sleep, you aren’t taking your makeup off at the end of the day, or you are spending too much time indoors. But, not always. If you are getting regular spot outbreaks or acne in specific areas all of the time, then it might be your skincare routine that isn’t working. Consider making some changes with Korean Skin Care UK, to make sure that you are using products that suit your skin type.
YOUR SKIN IS DRY
Again, dry skin is common. But, your body, hormones, and skin all change over time. cleansers, toners, and moisturisers that you have been using up until now might have kept your skin soft and supple, but that doesn’t mean that they always will. If your skin is suddenly very dry, use an intensive moisturiser for a while, and if that doesn’t work, make some permanent changes.
OR OILY
Some of us have naturally oily skin and finding products that keep it at bay can be tough. But, when you do, don’t feel as though you have to stick to it. If your skin feels oily, especially around areas like your T Zone and chin, or you feel like your makeup is melting off your face in the afternoon, try some different products, and consider using a facial primer.
YOU’VE GOT DARK CIRCLES
If you’ve had a few late nights, dark circles around your eyes are to be expected. But if you are sleeping lots and drinking plenty of water, a change to your skincare routine might be what you need. Use the same products, but try massaging your skin as you wash your face or apply your creams, to boost your circulation.
IT’S GREY AND DULL
Your skin should be bright and youthful. If it’s not, and the dark circles extend to your skin tone, try staying away from harsh chemicals and stick to natural products.
