Sure, you could do your taxes yourself, but paying someone who’s an expert is more beneficial in the long run. This applies to selling a home as well.

Getting your home listed on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) is key. To do this, you’ll need to work with a licensed real estate agent. The MLS is where agents representing buyers will look for homes and where people looking on their own will search.

Finally, a realtor is required to act in your best interest. They have a fiduciary responsibility to do what is best for you.
